My Dad Is 100 Years Old

This is an interesting autobiographical piece from Isabella Rossellini, son of famous Italian Neo-Realist filmmaker Roberto Rossellini. She discusses the importance of her father who is symbolised by a huge, flabby belly that talks! Rossellini plays 4 roles within the film encapsulating a range of views concerning different approaches to cinema. The perspectives of David Selznick, Alfred Hitchcock, Federico Fellini & Roberto Rossellini are all presented and referenced in this this ning forum. The film is available on the Cinema 16 collection or alternatively you can borrow it from D82.
