Transmedia, Convergence & The MatrixThis is a featured page

Check out this excellent presentation taken from Slideshare, itself an example of transmedia navigation with a presentation, written for another context appearing in our wiki, an entirely different form of expression. Note that there is an issue of 'ownership' here, as is often the case in transmedia, converged media forms. For example, I am using a presentation (without asking) within my wiki as many others have done with presentations made by me. Given that the presentation is for 'public' consumption I presume that the author does not mind us using his work, particularly when in an educational context. When multimedia conglomerates or authors of films ask for contributions from fans, the borderline between author and consumer is blurred, leading to inevitable conflicts as well as lots of positive synergy.
