WEEK 1 - Common Sense Media: Copyrights & Wrongs

For the next 4 weeks we will be exploring the importance of 'Digital Citizenship' and the ethical issues associated with media use online. We will start with the issue of copyright, which links closely with our lesson on censorship from last term and is specific to your current advertising task.

1. Advertising Update- As a group you should now be preparing for your first client meeting. This will take place next week so make sure you have some ideas ready to suggest.

2. Using the keynote via Google Classrooms (Spreadable Media) consider the changing nature of web based use and the process by which media is 'spread.' Simplify the terms on slide 4 in which we have moved from an 'appointment based model' of viewing TV to an 'engagement based paradigm.'
