At South Island School we take your online safety very seriously. Having been one of the first ESF schools to adopt the 1-1 laptop scheme it is crucial that we all learn to use these fantastic learning tools in a respectful and ethically sound way. As part of your laptop induction in Y7, the InterD team will use resources from a famous American website (www.commonsensemedia.org) to support what we call Digital Citizenship. This is a term which suggests that just as we want you to be good citizens in your local communities, we also expect the same approach to the online world.
